Being in the industry for many years, starting out as a teen working with her older siblings in their family owned salon, empowered & taught her leadership skills from a young age. Beginning as a Makeup Artist & Nail Tech, and then becoming a Hairstylist and Co/Owner of Salon10 with her sister Sofia. Always attending educational events throughout the year and now virtually to keep up with the forever changing trends.

Through proper consultation, her specialties include all techniques in Colouring/Highlighting, Smoothing Treatments & Haircutting. Being a Goldwell Colour Specialist for many years and training at the Vidal Sassoon Academy Toronto has allowed her more precision in haircutting skills when working on all guests.

Sofia Servello @sofia_salon10

Growing up in this industry, she had the blessing of interacting with guests and understanding the importance of a great salon experience. Attending hair shows at a young age inspired her to understand the artistic side of this career and as she got older, she got to work behind the scenes at some of these hair shows with Makeup & Hair.

By the time she was 16 yrs old to present, she attended workshops across the globe and now recently virtually, learning as many different skills to bring back to share. Travel, Nature, Music & Fashion also inspire her. By her teen years she worked side by side assisting her sister Luciana(Lu), which was a great experience and they both had the same vision on how they wanted their guests to feel the minute they walked into a salon.

At 24 years old she had her first child and at 8 months in she opened up her first salon HairZone – then to expand her space & services in 2007 Sofia and Lu opened up SALON10, creating a place for their team to flourish and for their guests to enjoy.

Sofia has been a licensed hairstylist for 28 yrs, and specializes in all forms of Barbering, Colouring, Smoothing & Texture Services, Haircutting, Styling and Formal Makeup.

Rachael Parenteau @rachaels_styles

As long as Rachael can remember, she’s always wanted to be a hairstylist. At a young age, on her P.D days, she’d visit her aunt at the salon she worked at and help sweep and serve coffee, & she just loved it. In 2001 she graduated from Nu Wave Pivot Point School of Hair Design. The one thing she loves the most about her profession is the strong relationships she gets to build, & not only does she make her guests look good, she makes them feel good too. She continues to attend hair shows and advanced workshops to stay on trend and learn new things.

She has 2 children and loves every minute of being a mom. They enjoy camping, skiing, hiking & biking.
She loves the atmosphere at Salon10, and the team are such a great group of people.

Chelsea Gushulak @hair.by.chelseag 

A passionate hairstylist, Chelsea has been behind the chair for 5+ years. In her 5+ years she graduated from Nu-Wave first in her class, and has dedicated herself to take extensive training every moment she can. Chelsea’s specialty’s include balayage, blonding, colouring and long hair, however is always up for some fun vivid’s and short pixie cuts. Chelsea loves connecting and getting to know her clients. As her client, she loves to achieve your hair goals and make sure you leave her chair happy. Outside of the salon, she enjoys travelling, camping and spending time with her family and fur babies. Chelsea looks forward to meeting you!

Jenna @jennasesthetics

 

Since Jenna was a young girl, shes always wanted to be in the beauty industry. She loved doing hair, nails, skincare, makeup and making people feel good about themselves.
She was given the opportunity to work in a salon when only in high school and everything took off from there, leading into studies at Nu Wave School of Hair Design where she studied Hair, Nails and Esthetics.
She continues to sharpen her skills with 8+ years and throughout these years she has found what she really loves about the industry and the drive to pursue it. On her spare time she enjoys her pets, music, painting/drawing & nature.
Since joining Salon10 in the fall of 2021, Jenna continues to advance her skills. In 2021 she became a Certified En Vogue Gel Technician, She offers other aesthetic services which include manicure, pedicures, Bridal Make-Up brow tint, shape & lamination and soon lash lift & tint will be offered by her in the Salon10 Spa Lounge.

She always looks forward to meeting new Salon10 guests & building life long relationships.

Justine is a delightful new talent stylist that will put that sunshine in your day . She is a musician as well as a creative , technical stylist & colourist that is excited to be accepting new guests at Salon10 by walk in or appointments. 

You can find her working under the senior talent team assisting and helping our guests with our Aveda collection of amazing products. Jennifer is our full time front desk hostess.
She has been lucky to have already met so many of you, and looks forward to seeing all the new faces visiting Salon10.

She has been gaining knowledge about all of our wonderful products & services to help assist our guests with their needs.
Her hours at Salon10 are Tues – Fri 9:30 am – 5:30 pm.
